Meet Maggie|I'm in Stitches Co. 👋🧶

I'm in Stitches Co was originally me creating handmade crochet pieces, until more recently when I decided to take the leap and share my knowledge to help complete beginners in Belfast learn a new skill they can enjoy.

My crochet workshops are designed to be relaxed, friendly and completely judgement free. Whether you've never held a crochet hook before or you are picking it up again and need a little refresher you will be made to feel welcome at my crochet workshops at Black Mountain Shared Space, Belfast. There are no silly questions, plenty of tea/coffee, laughs and lots of encouragement along the way.

Hi I'm Maggie, the crochet teacher behind I'm in Stitches Co in Belfast. I work full time as an SEN assistant by day and in the evenings you will find me hosting my workshops in Belfast at Black Mountain Shared Space. I have been crocheting for 17 years, I first started to crochet when my late mum taught me when I was 18 years old but I sat my crochet hook down for a while and picked it back up when I was 23 years old since then I have been hooked ever since! This year I turned 40 and took the leap from crocheting pieces to teaching crochet workshops the best decision I have ever made!

If I'm not crocheting ( very rare) you will find me spending time with my family, enjoying a coffee planning the next workshop!
